King 1079 Single Valve Bugle

When we first received this instrument as a gift we thought it might be a one of a kind. It was actually a standard production model available from King. The King catalog described the 1079 single valve bugle as "a splendid bugle that can be used for playing patriotic air and many other bits of music, having double the range of bugles without valves." Suggested retail price was $13.00.
